When my past bride Sammy contacted me about doing a Chicago maternity session, I knew it would be a good one! Her & Sean’s wedding was stunning, so obviously this session would be wonderful too- plus I was so excited for them! I love photographing my past wedding clients during different phases of life 🙂

We met up at my old studio (still so sad to say “old studio”!! I miss it!!) and when I saw the bunches of tulle and flowers they were carrying, I was READY. The goal was dreamy and editorial, and I’d say we nailed it. I was able to sneak in a few film shots as well, and they are honestly more of my favorites than digital! Can you tell which is which?? Plus, Sammy’s sister came with and brought her (at the time) newborn baby Jude, so we of course had to sneak in a few newborn shots. I love doing this style of a Chicago maternity session- it truly captures this special time between mom + baby in the most gorgeous way possible <3
