I'm so glad you're here. I'm Danielle, a fine art wedding & lifestyle photographer with a focus on capturing magical moments.
There’s something so special about boudoir-style maternity sessions—just mom, in her element, celebrating the incredible journey of motherhood. When Cara reached out for her maternity shoot, I was beyond thrilled. I photographed her wedding in 2021, so reconnecting to capture this new chapter was a gift. And let me tell you, Cara glowed.
Studio maternity sessions have this magical way of blending comfort, creativity, and confidence. My studio offers a cozy, private space where you can truly let loose and feel at ease—something every mama-to-be deserves, especially in those final months of pregnancy. It’s a time when your body is doing extraordinary work, yet the physical and emotional toll can be overwhelming. A maternity boudoir session is a chance to pause, honor this moment, and see yourself in a whole new light: strong, radiant, and undeniably beautiful.
I know how easy it is to be critical of ourselves. But trust me, when you step into the studio and see yourself through my lens, you’ll feel empowered in ways you didn’t expect. You’re creating life—what could be more stunning than that?

Cara’s session was a dream. She chose a soft, flowy blush pink gown that felt effortlessly elegant, paired with her flawless soft-glam makeup by the talented Gizelle Dozier. The delicate color made her dark hair and piercing blue eyes shine, and the look was timeless yet modern.
Later, she switched things up with a sleek black bodysuit that highlighted her growing bump in the most striking silhouette. The simplicity of the studio—clean lines, minimal props—allowed Cara to take center stage, and the result was nothing short of breathtaking.
I captured her session using film, which adds a rich, editorial feel I absolutely love. Film photography highlights depths and texture with a softness and authenticity that’s hard to replicate with digital. It’s the perfect choice for boudoir maternity—it feels timeless yet modern, bold yet intimate.
If you’ve been considering a studio maternity boudoir session, I’d love to help you plan one that feels true to you. To give you a head start, here are a few tips for styling your session:
Flowy fabrics, fitted bodysuits, or anything that hugs your bump can create stunning silhouettes. Keep it simple—your bump is the star of the show.
Blush, cream, black, gray, or soft pastels photograph beautifully against a clean studio backdrop. Avoid busy patterns or bold prints, as they can distract from the simplicity of the moment.
Comfort is key. Look for fabrics that flow and stretch. Think soft gowns, fitted bodysuits, or even delicate lingerie if you’re comfortable with it. You want to feel like you.
Pair one flowy, romantic outfit with a more form-fitting silhouette. This gives you a nice variety in your final images and allows you to explore different aspects of your personality and style.
Sheer fabrics, lace, or satin can add visual interest without being overpowering. They photograph beautifully and bring a subtle touch of elegance to your look.
You don’t need elaborate setups or props. Sometimes, the most powerful images are the simplest. A clean, neutral backdrop lets your beauty and the moment’s emotion shine through.
Hair and makeup can make such a difference in how you feel in front of the camera. That’s why I work with incredible HMU artists like Gizelle, who always brings her A-game with a soft glam style. She’ll make sure you feel utterly pampered and camera-ready so you can relax and enjoy the moment (because the third trimester is hard enough without extra stress).
Whether you want soft and dreamy or bold and dramatic, your maternity session should reflect who you are. Sharing your ideas and inspiration helps me bring your vision to life in a way that feels authentic to you.
If you’ve been dreaming of a maternity session that’s uniquely you, I’d love to help you bring it to life. Every woman’s journey is different; together, we’ll create something authentic and meaningful. I’ll guide you every step of the way—from selecting your outfits to finding the perfect light to highlight your beauty.
