As mainly a wedding photographer, I get asked often if I would do a Chicago fall mini family session. The answer? DUH! Family photography sessions can be so much fun, especially when they are past clients (and even more so when there’s a dog involved!!!). I captured Ling & Daniel’s intimate wedding back in 2019, and so I was so excited when she told me they recently had their adorable little one and wanted a Chicago fall mini family session. We met on a stunning fall evening at my favorite place for sessions in general, the West Ridge Nature Preserve, and spent some time capturing their adorable family. Don’t you just love their little one’s outfit?? I died when I saw him haha. Mini sessions can be a great way to capture your growing family, while not expecting your baby (and dog or other members of the family haha) to corporate too long.
