While I love living in Chicago, I so miss the California scenery! Not much beats the bay area hills, the crazy looking trees, and of course the somehow more perfect than anywhere else golden lighting! So when I had to go back home for a family event, I decided to set up a small styled shoot. I contacted my old high school friend Jordan, we got a dress and a bouquet, borrowed my dads wicker chair, and went off to the hill behind my childhood home and made some magic 🙂 Jordan was one of my very first models in high school, so it was so great to get to reconnect and shoot again just about 10 years later! We even did a shoot just like this with this same chair back in senior year, so it made it even more special. Can’t wait until the next time I can shoot in California!
