I'm so glad you're here. I'm Danielle, a fine art wedding & lifestyle photographer with a focus on capturing magical moments.
Sadly, this post brings us to the end of my Vero Workshop recap 🙁 (For part one click here, part two, and three) This final day was amazing though, after our adventures in downtown Charleston with the horse, we drove out to the stunning River Oaks wedding venue, where we ate lunch and chatted about the photography business, and then got to shoot the rest of the afternoon! It was a gloomy day, but it actually worked out so beautiful for the moody romantic vibe set up for us. The venue is right on the water, so we were eaten alive by gnats and mosquitos, but it’s a small price to pay to capture all this beauty. Plus, they have an adorable cat on site that made some fun photobombs as well haha. After finishing up, we went back into the city for a farewell dinner of Mexican food (and just a fewwwww margs 😉 ) then went back to the house and played dress up with some of the things we didn’t use for shoots- it was all too great. The next morning we had a diner breakfast, then headed to the airport. It was sad to say goodbye (and leave one of my favorite cities ever!) but I’m so lucky to have made close bonds with these gals. I left feeling refreshed (mentally, physically I was pretty much dead haha) and over the past year since the workshop, I have worked really hard on my creative process through setting up lots of my own styled shoots and personal work, and it has been a dream. I can’t wait until I can go to my next workshop and do this all over again 🙂
