Is there anything better than a surprise Lily Pond Chicago proposal!? Not really 😉 And this one specifically is so stunning & sweet. Varun contacted me about capturing his proposal to Srishti, and when he said it would be at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pond I was so excited! This is such a hidden treasure spot in the city- it seriously feels like you’ve been transported into a magical little world once you step inside the gates.

We planned to meet up on a gorgeous summer afternoon, and I pretended to play tourist taking nature photos until he dropped down on one knee. She of course said YES! And then we spent some time afterwards taking photos of this adorable newly engaged couple 🙂 Proposal photography is seriously my favorite kind of photography session because of all the pure joy!
