This 3 Arts Club Cafe Chicago proposal is truly something special! The 3 Arts Club Cafe is a stunning cafe in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, and they usually have a policy of no photography (which is such a shame because it’s SUCH a stunning space!). So, when Justin came to me with the idea to propose to his girlfriend in the cafe, I was a bit confused! But his determination to propose in their favorite restaurant and also have it photographed won the staff over, and they let us do it!

This proposal was a super fun one for me- since they didn’t want me standing around the restaurant with a camera, I had to sit at a table and pretend to be a guest, so I feel like these images look super candid and almost paparazzi like- definitely something a little different and cool! Justin’s idea was to have them sit down, and then he had a friend show up with her dog that Sherise is in love with, while he “went to the bathroom”. As he came back, she was happily petting the pup, and as he prenteded to go down just to pet the dog, he ended up on his knee and popped the question. Her look of surprise is definitely amazing!! After she said YES, we did a quick shoot outside, and then they went back in to celebrate. So check out this rare 3 Arts Club Cafe Chicago proposal- it won’t let you down 🙂
