Oh city hall weddings, how I love you! There’s just always something so romantic about a small elopement with just your closest friends and family. I met Sayira & Akram and their family while we waited for their names to be called for their ceremony. It was short & sweet, and full of love! Then we took some family photos in the lobby of City Hall (I love using the gold doors there for portraits when it’s too chilly outside for photos!) and then we took off for couple photos. We wandered the city and went to all of the classic spots in the area, and even stopped for a quick warm up at a coffee shop, and got some delicious macarons (partly for some ring detail shots, but mostly as a treat 😉 ). They were up for anything, and we got so many street shots, which are always my favorite when shooting in a city environment. Also, how much do you love Sayira’s dress?? It was so much fun to photograph. I had the best time spending the afternoon with these two, and can’t wait until I can photograph a Chicago City Hall wedding again 🙂
