Last year I had the opportunity to go to DC, and while I was there I knew I had to do a DC wedding photography session! Luckily, the stunning Sadie got in touch, and her and her boyfriend (now fiance!) were up for doing some modeling. I had a stunning dress from Mignonette Bridal, and we got a lovely bouquet from the amazing Ash to Oak, and headed to downtown DC. It was my first time being in the area, and given the timing (early April 2021) it was a little strange! Lots of things were still boarded up, and police were everywhere. Kind of a weird vibe to do a shoot in! But luckily the Jefferson Memorial Library was fine (and like, incredibly gorgeous) so I got that DC wedding photography look that I wanted. We also found some blossom trees in the area and they provided such a perfect pop of color. So check out this Washington DC wedding inspiration for yourself 🙂
