Are you ready for a simply stunning Chicago engagement session? Good, because this one seriously takes the cake! Plus, it’s actually technically two sessions 😂 Let me explain. I first met up with Rachel & Drew on a pretty gloomy summer afternoon. The radar was promising no rain, so we went for it! We started off at the always classic Cafe Brauer area near the Lincoln Park zoo, and spent time playing around amongst the flowers (how much do you love the little white flowers all over the grass!?) and capturing that actual perfection of these two! But then, as they were changing into their next look, it started to pour rain 🙃 Since that wasn’t the vibe they were hoping for, we decided to meet up again a few weeks later, and boy am I glad we did!

The next shoot was a perfect summer sunset kind of day, which is always the best when shooting at North Avenue Beach. Plus, they were adventurous and got in the water, which if you’ve followed me for a bit you know I absolutely love to shoot in water. And on another note, how amazing are both of their looks!? I especially loved Rachel’s second dress with the flowers- so on point for a summer engagement session. I also got to bring my film camera for this one, so see if you can spot those images! So despite the setbacks, Rachel & Drew ended up with pretty much the perfect Chicago engagement session <3
