Last year I had the opportunity to go to DC, and while I was there I knew I had to do some shoots! So I reached out to friends, and luckily the beautiful Natalie was a friend of a friend, and her and her fiance needed some DC engagement photos! We picked a neighborhood in the DC suburbs that was filled with blossoms, and spent a lovely afternoon running around & taking these photos. They were just so sweet together, and doesn’t Natalie look stunning?? The dress she is wearing is actually one I found at a thrift store years ago and brought for her to try on just in case- and it fit like a glove! This was also my very first shoot with my new medium format film camera, and I was in love with the first shot (or actually the first developed roll because I couldn’t see it right away haha). Can you tell which images are film and which are digital? Anyway, this was a perfect afternoon spent with lovely people and now I want to go back to DC in the spring and see the blossoms every year 🙂
