This Chicago cake smash family session is not one to be missed! Years ago I started capturing the Moylan’s growing family when they had their first daughter Mackayla. I photographed her newborn session, then again on her first birthday, then again at this adorable session, and then a little later again when baby Blair entered the scene! Cut to Blair’s first birthday, and they wanted to do a cake smash session for her, and I was so in.

We met at the same park we’ve used for years for photos, did some traditional family poses and candids, and then brought out the main event- a large chocolate cupcake. Blair & Mackayla had the time of their little lives eating and playing with this cupcake- it was amazing. I absolutely LOVE watching a family grow up like this- such a special thing to get to witness. Especially with a family like this. They are all the absolute sweetest, and these two girls are seriously some of the cutest & funniest gals I’ve ever photographed.
