Laura & Alex had one of the coolest weddings I’ve been a part of yet! They were incredibly chill and sweet all day, and have just so much love for each other 🙂 It was even better because I got to spend two events with them! The night before the wedding I joined them to capture their rehearsal dinner, where they made me feel like a guest, which was just so sweet. Then the next morning I met up with Laura at a stunning air bnb for getting ready, where we also had their amazing first look. Plus, how insanely adorable are their dogs??? I’m still so obsessed with them! I won’t lie, I definitely spent a lot of my time shooting and petting them at the same time haha. Then we took off for some classic Chicago photo spots, and hit up a brewery for some pre-ceremony drinks and candid photos, and ended up at my favorite venue, Salvage One. There they had their lovely ceremony (pups included!), we took more fun portraits, and then they danced the night away. We ended the night with some outdoor portraits, and since Alex is a fellow photographer, we collaborated on some cool lighting for their Chicago sign shot, and I’m so in love with the results! It was fun to do something a little different from what I’d normally do. Such a wonderful day to be a part of 🙂
