Kelly & Dave’s wedding day was simple, beautiful, and so so much fun! This was my first time shooting at Salvage One, and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to start off my love for this venue! The day was so calm and lovely; we spent the morning doing many detail shots (which I loooove), and documenting them both getting ready in these gorgeous suites. I’ve come to realize over the years of shooting, that having lots of time in the morning is so key! It not only creates the opportunity for some amazing pre-wedding shots (candids & details!), but it really lends to an overall sense of calm for the rest of the day. After they were all ready, they had their adorable first look, and it was onto the ceremony! The day finished with an amazing outdoor cocktail hour, and a delicious dinner in their well-styled dining room. Can you believe Kelly did all the florals herself?? Most of the details were DIY, and I always find that so amazing and personal. Overall this day was perfect & I’d relive shooting it in a heart beat 🙂
