I'm so glad you're here. I'm Danielle, a fine art wedding & lifestyle photographer with a focus on capturing magical moments.
Julie & Tom’s City View Loft wedding is the epitome of a romantic & effortless wedding day! These two were seriously one of the chillest, most laid back couple I’ve ever had the please of working with. We first met up for their engagement session on Northerly Island roughly a year before their day, with their pup in tow and it was the best! Cut to their wedding day in November 2021- COVID is still sadly a thing, so they kept their wedding fairly small, but it was still a stunning day.
We started out at one of my favorite hotels, The Robey, for prep photos. I love it here so much because it is the perfect place to shoot- the light is always A+, and the all white decor makes for amazing, clean prep photos. Plus, Julie made it really easy on me with such a stunning hair-do and dress! Her whole look was so good. Then we all met up at the Humboldt Park Boathouse for Tom & Julie’s tearjerking first look. I don’t think I’ll ever get over the way Tom looks at Julie- so so much love <3 Then we had a blast running around the area on a perfect fall day with their wedding party, who were all so fun and so sweet! Finally we ended up at City View Loft for some sunset photos (which omg how stunning of a sunset did we get??), a short & sweet ceremony performed by Julie’s uncle, and then of course, a super fun dance party to end the night. A City View Loft wedding seriously will never disappoint! I have shot at this venue many times over the years, and I will always love the space. It lends to such a romantic vibe, especially for the first dance with the string lights- my all time favorite way to shoot a first dance 🙂 I so enjoyed spending this lovely day with such incredible people, so check out all the fun for yourself 🙂
