Jenna & Aram’s fall New York wedding was easily one of my favorite weddings of 2019! If you know me, you know I love to travel to new places, so after meeting in Chicago for their engagement session, when they asked me if I’d be interested in shooting their New York wedding, I jumped at the chance! We had a lot in common (especially our love for dogs!) and I just knew their day would be so so much fun because of their amazing senses of humor, and the love they clearly share deeply for one another. And I was right! From their beautiful (and hilarious, see: custom hot sauce bottle) details, to the cutest first look, to Jenna walking down the aisle to “Dancing Queen”, to the most perfect sunset and most entertaining dance party I’ve seen in a while, it was all just the best. I loved how much work they put into their wedding to make it as personal as possible, with friends and family making things for the decor (the wood centerpieces was from a tree they grew up with!) to all the songs and speeches feeling totally “them” 🙂 Plus, how amazingly stunning is The Locust Grove Estate?? It was such a treat to shoot at such a historic landmark, that also happened to have the most incredible views of the Hudson Valley, perfect for our sunset photos.
