When I first spoke to Mandy & Ben on the phone and they told me their plans for their day, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to shoot a wedding more! I mean, a ceremony at Jeni’s Ice Cream? Come on! Such a fun idea. And boy, did they pull it off well. Every little detail was amazing and so cute, from Ben’s boutonniere being and ice cream scoop pin, to the ring bearer carrying the rings in a cup of sprinkles, it was all the cutest. Oh and did I mention their amazing dog yet??? Argo is the sweetest pup ever and if you know me, you know every moment I wasn’t shooting I was petting him 😉 We met very early in the morning at the lovely new hotel The Zachary where we did getting ready photos. Then got shuttled across the street (it was pouring all morning!) to Jeni’s for the ceremony! After they said their I-do’s, we spent a fun ice cream social hour taking photos and eating delicious ice cream, then headed back to the hotel for more photos. Even though the rain messed up some of our photo plans, they didn’t let them get them down! I always love couples who can go with the flow and still enjoy the day when things change.
