Gail & Justin’s engagement session is the perfect example of how being flexible can create the best results for a photoshoot! We had set up a day for the shoot. months in advance, and of course once that day came, it was absolutely pouring ALL day long. But, they were so excited about doing photos that we decided to change our plans from all outdoor photos, to some indoor spots and continue as planned. I met them at their apartment so we could get a few shots of them and their adorable pup Mochi, then we went over to my studio in Pilsen for some more editorial shots of just the two of them! This was the first time I got to shoot a couple at my studio, and I just looooved it. We played around with seamless backdrops, and got creative with the furniture I have for boudoir sessions, like my prized velvet couches and chairs, and it was just so much fun to really push my creativity for things to do in a small space.
