Oh how I love a good micro wedding! They are always so fun & full of love, and Eric & Don’s day was exactly that! We met up at Dawes Park in Evanston on a rainy September afternoon, and although it rained pretty much all day, they didn’t let that ruin their day. We still took some beautiful, fun, romantic shots of them celebrating their I-do’s, and even made the outdoor ceremony still work, as we found some tree cover that protected them enough for their personal & heartfelt ceremony. Then after a champagne toast, we snuck into a park building and took some fast family photos, then went off again for some rainy beach shots of the two of them. We even recreated part of their ceremony in the actual spot they were planning on having it (by the lake with all the ducks! Haha), which was too cute. Then we headed back to the house for a small reception, where they had snacks and got to hang out with their closest friends & family. I love how casual & personal their micro wedding was! And Eric & Don seemed so happy and so in love all day, so I still get a huge grin on my face while looking through these photos, and I hope you do too 🙂
