When Emily reached out to me two days before her Chicago beach elopement wedding, and I was available, I was so excited! Her and Jason had last minute decided to elope after cancelling their larger wedding, and it just happened to work out that I was still free that day to capture all the fun 🙂 We met on a lovely fall evening at Glencoe Beach, where I got to meet them, and their sweet families. They had turned a little picnic area into the cutest mini reception and ceremony area, which made for such a personal touch. I also love that they still did florals and dressed up- how cute & chic is Emily’s outfit?? Plus those fall florals are just to die for. And of course, no covid wedding is complete without bride & groom masks 😉
We started the ceremony right away, took some time to celebrate and take group & couple photos, and then I left them after a group champagne toast for their dinner. I really love elopements and smaller weddings in general, but a beach elopement is even better 🙂 Even though Chicago’s beaches aren’t as huge as on the coast, it’s still so stunning and wonderful to be by the water, and makes for perfect photos and a perfect vibe 🙂
