I'm so glad you're here. I'm Danielle, a fine art wedding & lifestyle photographer with a focus on capturing magical moments.
This Chicago Museum Of Science engagement session is definitely not one to miss! For a long time I had wanted to shoot at the Museum of Science and Industry, and when Emily & Gabe decided on that for their first location for their fall engagement session, I was thrilled!
We met up on a stunning September evening with these two looking perfect in their blue & white combo outfits! There’s nothing more classic than donning a white sun dress for an engagement session, but I love the pop of color that Gabe’s blue shirt provided. We had a blast running around the stunning museum and the surrounding areas (how much do you love the lily pond right there as well??), and then headed off to nearby Promontory Point for their second location, which is always a favorite spot of mine for photos. I’m always a sucker for shooting by the water, and I love the raw edged stone steps that lead down to the lake- all that plus an amazing view of the Chicago skyline? Perfection.
Emily & Gabe were so sweet together, and I loved that they let me get a bit ~creative~ for the session as well. I had tried out some different shooting techniques in styled shoots, but they are one of my first couples who let me try things like motion blur out, and it was the best. I love experimenting, and so to find a like minded couple is the best. We finished the night with a classic champagne pop shot, and then some romantic blurry kisses. They recently had their wedding and I can’t wait to share images from that, but for now, enjoy their Chicago Museum Of Science engagement session <3
