Just about two years ago, I captured Ellie & Ryan’s amazing proposal here in Chicago. They were here visiting family, but live in Atlanta, so I was super excited when they invited me to capture their day down there! If you know me, you know I love to travel for weddings and to shoot in new places! So I joined them for a stunning weekend in Atlanta this fall, and not only got to capture their wedding day, but also some incredible bridal portraits for Ellie and their rehearsal the day before! I really wish bridal portraits were more of a thing here in Chicago, it was so perfect to get to spend a whole hour doing them, versus on the wedding day itself where you’re lucky if you get a few minutes of just the bride alone! Definitely made for a special experience, and gave me so much time to get creative. Plus, how insanely stunning does Ellie look!? It was so much fun to spend all of this time with them. After the rehearsal, Ellie & Ryan practiced their first dance in the sunset, and then they all headed off to dinner. They full wedding day will be up next, so get excited 😉
