Ashley & Zach’s Chicago anniversary couple session was pure fall perfection! I first met Ashley at a Panera (in maybe… 2016? I don’t even remember now!) when she hired me for their wedding. Since then, I was able to capture their engagement session, wedding, a Covid era couples session, and then this shoot for their 5 year wedding anniversary. I absolutely LOVE following my couples through the years and capturing their ever growing love for each other.

We started this stunning session on one of Chicago’s most perfect fall evenings at the church where they tied the knot, St. Michaels in Old Town. Ashley wore not only the cutest jumpsuit, but also brought along her veil from the big day! Then we moved over to North Avenue beach, which is not only where we did some of their engagement photos, but also wedding photos. How fun is it to have so many different times in your life captured at the same spot?? Another fun detail is for this second look, Ashley wore her wedding shoes, sparkly Kate Spade tennis shoes (which I’m still so in love with!). I just loved how thoughtful they were in all the little details for this session, it will really be meaningful for them for the rest of their lives.
