A Chicago fall engagement session that includes a dog miiiiight be my favorite thing ever 🙂 So when I planned this session with Alyssa & Tom and they asked to bring along Caroline (best dog name ever!), I couldn’t have been more excited! I’m excited for every shoot I do, but then when people ask to bring along a pet, I want to do it right away 😉 Their beautiful Chicago fall engagement session is proof of how much a pup can add to your session- I mean just look at how cute they are with her. Being a huge animal lover myself, I know how important a pet is in your life, and it’s fun to celebrate that as well as your engagement!

It’s extra great when you can also bring the pup, but then also do some photos of just the two of you, like we did here when we moved from the Lincoln Park Zoo area to North Avenue Beach. They wanted to do a champagne pop shot with the city in the background, so doing that with a dog isn’t the easiest sounding idea haha. I absolutely loved their champagne pop, it was just the cutest! They even did it twice so we could get the perfect shot (and to finish up the bottle 😉 ). Plus, how pretty was Alyssa’s dress? It was very brave of her to wear it on such a chilly day by the lake, but totally worth it I’d say! All in all, a perfect morning spent with three wonderful beings <3
