This Chicago Botanic Garden proposal is definitely one to remember! I love proposals SO much, and even more so when I get to follow the couple from proposal to wedding, like I got to do with Anya & Jarrett 🙂

Jarrett reached out to me with his plans to pop the question to Anya at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, and then surprise her with a big party with their closest friends and family. We met up on a warm, rainy summer evening, but luckily the rain stopped literally minutes before they got into position- meant to be! She of course said “yes!” and then we spent some time wandering the stunning gardens for some post proposal, sublimely happy, photos. Then we took off to a nearby resturant where they were greeted by their loved ones (including their puppy Murphy!!!) and had a blast celebrating the good news.

I was so thrilled when they later reached out to me about wedding photography! So since then, we’ve met up a few more times for a boudoir session, engagement session, and of course, the rehearsal dinner & actual wedding in Milwaukee.
