If you’re looking for classic, yet cool wedding inspiration, then look no further than this Bottom Lounge Chicago wedding! Tracy & Bob had an amazing winter wedding, Santas on motorcycles included 😉 But I’m getting ahead of myself- let’s start at the beginning! I first met Tracy & Bob for their lovely downtown Chicago engagement session with their adorable pup 🙂 It was quite the adventure for me as I was recovering from knee surgery, but they were amazing and patient as I hobbled around after them on crutches, and we got some great shots.
Cut to December and I met them in a hotel in the West Loop for the big day! We did the usual getting ready shots (how cute are all the bridesmaids socks!?) and captured so many great emotions. Her first look with her dad still gets me every time. Then we took off to St. Michaels for their ceremony, and once they said I do, we spent the afternoon running around the city! We went to North Avenue Beach, the Kinzie Street bridge, and the (sadly no longer existing) Cassidy Tires shop that has the coolest vibe for an industrial look. I love getting a mix of photos like this, from the classically pretty shots at the beach, to the more vibey shots in the city itself. One of the highlights of the day had to be when a Santa gang zoomed past us on the bridge! It seriously makes for the most unique wedding photos ever right?? Definitely a perfect memory for a December wedding.
Finally we landed at one of my favorite venues, Bottom Lounge ! I have shot here many times and it’s always the best. I love all the little details they do for their couple, from the custom chalk welcome sign, to the beautiful reception set up- it’s overall a great spot to shoot in. After a fun cocktail hour, Tracy & Bob heard from some of their loved ones with speeches, did their first dances, and then partied the night away. These two cuties seemed so happy to finally be married, and you can just tell how much they love each other through these images 🙂 So take a look at this Bottom Lounge Chicago wedding and feel the love 😉
