There’s nothing more iconic than a Lincoln Park proposal in Chicago! The Lincoln Park Zoo area is one of the spots in Chicago I shoot at the most, and it’s easily one of the best places for a proposal in this beautiful city of ours. Not only do you get an incredible view of the city and the pond, but it is also an easy spot for me to blend in so as not to arouse any suspicion on the propos-ee’s end! There are always tourists taking photos in the area, so when I do my usual thing (pretend to just be taking photos of the nature in the area) before the big moment, no one ever notices me- which makes for some great real reaction photos 🙂

I met up with Ana & Ricky on their trip to Chicago from Pittsburgh on a stunning fall afternoon. As I mentioned before, I got their early and pretended to be a tourist taking advantage of a gorgeous fall day. As soon as I saw them, I got ready, and caught Ricky going down on his knee, much to Ana’s shock & excitement! She of course said yes, and then we took some photos to celebrate the moment. I have two kinds of proposal packages, one full and one mini, and Ricky picked mini, so this is a great example of how even a smaller session can still result in some super fun and cute photos.
