Oh an intimate Chicago wedding, how I love you so! Especially when it’s at the always stunning Loft of Elements Preserved! This light & airy space alongside all the vintage touches is a dream spot for a small, stunning wedding. Then throw in a sweet & adorable couple like Sam & Max, and you’re good to go!

I showed up on a rainy Saturday afternoon for the wedding, and spent time capturing all the cute details in the space. Then we started off with the lovely ceremony, and Sam & Max spent the rest of their afternoon celebrating with their best friends & family. I loved witnessing their quiet but obvious love for each other, and how elegant and romantic they were together in general! Their favorite movie is Up, so they had some nods to that, and we even kind of recreated the photo of the two characters holding hands in chairs (but I have to say, our version might be better with these velvet chairs 😉 ). I always love being a part of an intimate Chicago wedding, as you really get to spend time with taking photos, and for the couple, it’s nice to be much less stressed out!
