One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer is eventually capturing a family session with my couples! I first met Kelsi when I did her boudoir session, which lead to me doing her & John’s engagement session and wedding. Then a few years later, they contacted me for a maternity session and I was so happy for them 🙂 Then a few months later we met up again for Elliot’s newborn photos in the winter, and finally his 6 month celebration in the summer! This is at one of my very favorite spots for shoots, the West Ridge Nature Preserve, and it was such a perfect spot for this mini session.

It is truly amazing to watch a family grow like this. I think doing a usual family session like this is so important and meaningful! It is something this lovely family will be able to cherish for the rest of their lives. Can’t wait for our next ones <3
