In 2020 & 2021, backyard weddings were all the rage, and I was 100% into it! Especially when you have a backyard wedding as insanely stunning as Becca & John’s wedding was. They had rescheduled their wedding multiple times since the start of the pandemic, and ultimately decided to ditch their venue and do it at Becca’s childhood home, which seemed like it ended up being the best choice in the end. How stunning is this house and yard?? When I drove up on this perfect June morning, I instantly knew we’d have an amazing day. Then I saw their adorable pup Patty & knew it would be even better than I thought 😉

From Becca’s getting ready process to their lovely first dances, everything was so personal, fun & meaningful to them as the fun-loving, sweet couple that they are. And that first look? I mean come on, what’s better than John’s reaction? Their group of friends were so hilarious and fun as well, and just added to the joyful atmosphere throughout the entire day (I especially loved their “ring bear-er” haha). The ceremony couldn’t have been more beautiful, and we got the perfect sunset for their outdoor reception and some last photos of the night with twinkle lights.
