This was my first wedding of 2020, and boy did it kick things off to an amazing start! After Abby & Chris’s adorable engagement session in the fall, I just knew their day would be perfect, and it really was! I met up with Abby & her girls at a beautiful Air BnB in the south loop, where we took some beautiful detail shots, and some super cute family & bridesmaids candids. Then we headed over to one of my favorite spots in the city, The Garfield Park Conservatory, for their first look and wedding party photos. I’m so happy they wanted to do their first look in the desert room, it’s my favorite spot to shoot in! Then we braved the outside for some more photos, and then headed off to their venue, the Bridgeport Art Center, for the rest of the night. Their ceremony was so lovely, string lights like that just get me every time! Plus, you could just sense how incredibly excited they were to finally be saying “I do” 🙂 The rest of the night was filled with speeches, photos of them with their family & friends, and so much dancing. A perfect way to kick off the 2020 wedding season 🙂
