When a bride wants your first meeting to be at a pizza restaurant, you know you’ll be instant friends, and that’s exactly what happened with Grace! I met her to have lunch to talk about the wedding over pizza, and it was so much fun. Cut to a few months later, and it was wedding time! I met them at the stunning University Club of Chicago, where went spent the whole day. I did some getting ready shots for each of them (and was obsessed with all of their details, so pretty!), and then we went up to the roof hallway for their emotional first look, and some family and wedding party shots. We then wandered around the city for a bit and took so many lovely photos- they were such a great group of people to spend the afternoon with! Then once we were all frozen solid, we headed back to the venue to prepare for their ceremony. It was such a beautiful ceremony, the main space in the Club is just so perfect, especially for a winter wedding. The ceremony was heartfelt and just so full of love. Once they were officially husband and wife, it was then time to party! Grace’s present to Mirza was a 90 Day Fiance cake, which was a hilarious moment when she revealed it to him during cocktail hour. The rest of the night was filled with loving speeches, and a dance party. This was my last wedding of 2019, which made it all the more special to spend it with Grace, Mirza and all of their great friends and family 🙂
