Kelly & Peter’s wedding was something pretty different for me! They didn’t want to pose for much at all, and wanted mostly candid photos of their day, which was so fun! Of course we did a few more posed shots, but for the most part, the day consisted of me playing fly on the wall and documenting the day. The whole day was super chill and beautiful, we even got super lucky with the weather- it started out pouring in the morning, but by the time we left for portraits at Olive Park after the ceremony at The W Lakeshore, it was sunny and warm. Then we headed off to an outside bar for drinks and more candid photos, then to the reception at Loyola’s Donovan Reading Room (or The Cudahy Library, one of my favorite venues!). There their friends and family gave some of the most emotional speeches I’ve ever heard (as you can probably tell by all the photos of people wiping away tears with napkins!), and of course, ended the night with some sunset photos, and then a huge dance party. It’s always fun to try something a little different, so I hope you enjoy this mostly candid wedding 🙂
