Sun-Soaked & Jewel-Toned Editorial: Fall Wedding Inspiration

Last week I posted about my first smaller styled shoot, and today I’m happy to present my first larger one! It was such an honor to get to work with so many talented vendors, I still can’t believe how wonderful everything turned out.

It all started with an idea that the wonderful Bethany (over at Bethany Moore Events) had for an editorial, and I mentioned I would be interested in collaborating on it with her, and bam! A styled shoot was born. The idea was for kind of a “woodland/jewel-toned wedding table-scape” and grew from there. Slowly over a few months we landed all of our talented vendors, and it all came together on a late August evening. The forecast was calling for rain all week, but the day of was nothing but perfect sunshine. With help from many friends, we set up under the most beautiful weeping willow (my favorite kind of tree!) at Arrowhead Golf Club and had our fun. I myself had the best time, as shooting details & the couple are my absolute favorite parts of the wedding day, so getting to do that for 3 hours was just a dream. Putting on this little wedding was just so rewarding, and a great chance to work with so many incredible creatives. At the end of the shoot we enjoyed some champagne and toasted to all our hard work 🙂

Thanks again to everyone who participated!
